Absheron Peninsula, Azerbaijan.where man can never go.

Today we take you on a tour of the world's largest pressure cooker.  Don't be surprised, this is not an ordinary pressure cooker, but a natural pressure cooker and spread over a large area.  It is located in the Absheron Peninsula of the Central Asian country of Azerbaijan.  The Abshara Peninsula is bordered by the Caspian Sea, the largest lake in the world.  Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan and the beautiful city of Central Asia, is also located in it.
Abshara Peninsula has a large number of natural gas reserves under the ground.  When the pressure of the gas increases, it starts to come out of the soft surface of the earth somewhere, the gas comes out of the earth at a high speed like a volcano erupted.  Is.  Mud volcanoes erupt.  Such explosions often occur in this area.  They are usually not dangerous, but many times scary scenes are seen.  In the year 2001, at a distance of 15 kilometers from Baku, there was such a powerful explosion in the volcano called Lokbatan that sparks were seen hundreds of meters high in the sky.  The atmosphere there was completely filled with mud and smoke.  An explosion also occurred on February 6, 2017.  Abshara Peninsula is famous worldwide for its natural beauty of volcanic eruptions and mud volcanoes.  Tourists from far and wide come to see them.  Seventy years ago today, someone threw a cigarette on the hill.  Since then, fires have been burning here to this day.  There is always a fire here in a circle of about ten square meters.  A gas leak can explode anywhere, anytime in this region.  A fire may occur.  But still people have inhabited this area for thousands of years.
