Joe Biden: Who is the 46th president of the United States who suffered many traumas in his personal life?

After being sworn in as the 46th President of the United States on January 20, 2020, a longtime dream of Joe Biden is about to come true.  This was Biden's third attempt to step into the Oval Office and the first time he succeeded.

was a difficult candidate for the modern Democratic Party.
Biden's son Beau has served as Delaware's attorney general and as a soldier in Iraq

Joe Biden has gone through tragedies in his personal life that are extremely painful and that have made him appear close to the public.

As he was preparing to be sworn in after winning his first Senate election, his wife Nayelia and daughter Naomi were killed in a traffic accident, while sons Beau and Hunter were injured.

Beau also later died of a brain tumor at the age of 46.

The simultaneous deaths of loved ones have brought them close to the hearts of many Americans.  Despite all his political influence and wealth, he has gone through the same tragedies that ordinary people face.

But when he joined the race in 2020, he faced more difficulties.  Eight women alleged that Joe Biden inappropriately touched, hugged or kissed them.  Several clips of him have been aired on American TV channels in which he can be seen walking up to women at various public gatherings and making out with women, including scenes that make it seem as if he is  Smelling women's hair.

In response, Biden promised to be careful when meeting people in the future.

However, in March, a woman named Tara Reid alleged that 30 years ago, Biden forced her against a wall and sexually assaulted her.  During those days, the woman worked as an assistant in Biden's office.

Joe Biden denied the allegation and issued a statement saying no such incident took place.  Members of the Democratic Party defended their candidate, citing President Trump as the example of more than a dozen women who have accused him of sexual assault.

While Joe Biden's style has caused problems in the past, his supporters hope that his approach to being warm and approachable to ordinary people will prevent him from falling into a situation that many former politicians have found themselves in.

Early in his career, he supported racially segregated school advocates in the south of the country, at a time when a court ordered that school buses be segregated by race. Should not be done.

In 1991, as chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, he spearheaded the nomination of Clarence Thomas to the Supreme Court. In this regard, he is accused of not properly investigating allegations of sexual harassment by woman Anita Hill against Clarence Thomas.

In 1994, he also strongly supported an anti-crime bill. The bill is said to have led to unnecessarily long sentences and mass incarceration.

These are the reasons why President Obama's slightly more moderate vice president might have been a difficult candidate for the modern Democratic Party.
